Karoline is a landscape architect based in Berlin, Hamburg, and Copenhagen. She studied landscape architecture in Copenhagen (Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, KVL) and Dresden (Technical University Dresden), graduating in 2007. During her studies, she worked as a freelance landscape architect realising first projects like a Cloister Garden in the Carthusian Monastery San Lorenzo in Padula, Italy.
After graduating from Technical University Dresden, Karoline joined the international renowned landscape architecture firm TOPOTEK1 in Berlin, leading a team of architects and landscape architects in national and international design projects and competitions.
In 2010, Karoline joined Prof. Christiane Sörensen as a lecturer and research assistant at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Studio Topographic Thinking and Designing at HafenCity University Hamburg. In addition to her academic activities, Karoline works as a freelance landscape architect taking part in competitions such as the Schinkel Award, winning first prize in the Fine Arts category with Berlin-based architect Sigurd Larsen in 2012.
